VISITS

In addition to the very interesting talks presented at SLSS, we organise visits which, wherever possible, are linked to our lecture programme.

For example, following an engaging talk about Dr Johnson, the compiler of the first English dictionary, we arranged a visit to Dr Johnson's House in London.

These visits have proved both successful and extremely popular with our members.
This season, our visits have included:
•The Old Bailey
•Freemasons' Hall
•Dr Johnson's House

Our next season begins on 13 October 2026, and we intend to organise further visits in collaboration with our members.

We would be delighted if you joined us
